Making of wedding rings

Making a simple gold or silver ring is relatively easy, and with my support, anyone can do it. It is possible to make more complicated rings during the two-day workshop.

The time scale of the workshop is not precisely defined. Depending on the complexity of your idea, we will arrange to meet in the workshop on the first day at around 9 am. I will brief you on the work plan and, apart from a lunch break or other refreshments, we will work until we have completed at least half of the work plan. We will follow up the next day and I will be available until you are satisfied with the result.

A lifetime guarantee against hidden defects is a matter of course, as well as re- polishing your rings on request. You can make your engagement rings or any other pieces of jewelry in my workshop. Don't hesitate to contact me, I will arrange dates and prices individually.

More information

Materials

In my workshop I work with all common jewellery alloys, natural materials (horn, wood, etc.) and titanium.

You can also bring your own material, including for example old broken jewellery, odd earrings or even dental gold.

I cooperate with the Austrian Ögussa precious metals trading company, through which I will provide new material of corresponding value.

Booking and deposit payment

The total price of the workshop is 1025 EUR (1230 EUR on weekdays). I will book the date for you after paying a symbolic deposit of 80 EUR.

At the non-binding consultation meeting we will discuss your idea of wedding rings and I will introduce you to the possibilities of the workshop. After the consultation meeting, the deposit is no longer refundable.

If you work with silver, base metals or natural materials, you will pay the remaining 948 or 1150 EUR after you complete your work, and this price is final for you.

If you decide to make gold rings, I will tell you the exact price of the material at the consultation meeting, taking into account the size of your fingers and the desired thickness of the ring.

We will then individually arrange for sending a deposit for the material so that I can prepare everything in advance.

Examples of final price calculation

Rings made of titanium, silver, base metals or natural materials - price 1025, resp. 1230 EUR is final.

Gold rings - you pay the basic price of the workshop plus the price of the material. This varies depending on the type of alloy, fineness and size of your rings.

The average price of material for one pair of rings made of 14 carat gold is 490 - 650 EUR. These prices are indicative and vary depending on the price of gold on the stock exchange and traders.
